Description
Batman-Themed Bond King Bread Plastic Wrapper (Bond Baking Co., 1966). The Batman television series that premiered in January, 1966 was an instant success, and its popularity resulted in several companies licensing the character. Bond Bread, once a sponsor for Hopalong Cassidy, was one of the first to use Batman in their packaging and advertising. Here's an unused plastic bread loaf bag loaded with images if the Dynamic Duo, their foes like the Joker and Penguin, and explosive "Bang," "Zing," and "Pow" visual sound effects. The plastic has some crease lines from storage, but is otherwise in Excellent condition. Not listed in Hake's.Auction Info
