"This is Disneyland" Assorted Posters Group of 3 (Walt Disney, c. 1970/80s). Presented are a trio of colorful posters from Disney's "This is Disneyland" promotion. These distinctive and vibrant posters feature photographs from the Tea Cup ride in the first piece. Visible is the now defunct Skyway ride with the Matterhorn mountain overlooking the ride. The second poster shows the Disneyland Railroad station and one of the five trains at the park. This train is named the "Fred Gurley." It was named after Fred Gurley, then the current chairman of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway, which was the sponsor of the Disneyland Railroad from 1955 to 1974. It is the oldest piece of operating railroad equipment in any Disney park. The third poster shows park guests in their bobsleds at the end of the Matterhorn ride. The attraction opened in 1959 in Tomorrowland, now known as Fantasyland, and remains one of the most popular rides at Disneyland. The posters measure 22" x 30" and exhibit very light wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
