Description

"Speechless" Mel Blanc Tribute Fine Art Print (Warner Bros. 1989). Mel Blanc (1908 - 1989) was nicknamed "The Man of a Thousand Voices", and is regarded as one of the most influential people in the voice acting industry. Blanc's death in 1989 was considered a significant loss to the cartoon industry because of his skill, expressive range, and sheer volume of characters he portrayed. Indeed, as movie critic Leonard Maltin once pointed out, "It is astounding to realize that Tweety Bird and Yosemite Sam are the same man!" In a tribute to Mel Blanc, Warner Bros. released this fine art print titled, "Speechless." The image features Mel's most famous characters; Sylvester, Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, Daffy Duck, Pepe Le Pew, Porky Pig, and Bugs Bunny. The print measures approximately 25.5" x 16.5" enclosed in a frame of 31" x 22". Frame sold as-is. Condition is Very Good.
