Description
"Peter Pan" Disneyland Park Entrance Ride Poster (Walt Disney, 1959). "Wendy, Michael, John, Tinker Bell, come on... Off to Neverland!" Original hand-pulled silk-screened Disneyland Park Entrance poster for the "Peter Pan" ride, along with "Snow White" and "Mr. Toad" rides for Fantasyland. This stylized poster was designed by Bjorn Aronson in 1955. Similar designs were used in Orlando, Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland parks as well. This is an original 36" x 54" poster that is framed with glass to the poster's edge. It can be seen in the book Poster Art of the Disney Parks by Danny Handke and Vanessa Hunt on page 70. The "Jolly Roger" image is an amazing 25". Frame is sold as-is. Minor handling and edge wear and border creases. Small 1" tear in top center, hard to see due to framing. Good condition.Auction Info
