    Description

"Pan Fer Gold" Ghost Town Sign Group of 2 (1947). In 1947 the Pan For Gold attraction opened up next to the Gold Mine. This very popular attraction had people actually panning for gold, with real gold sprinkled in for them to find. When people actually spotted gold in their sluice box, it was placed in a souvenir bottle for a small fee. Panning for Gold continues today and was recently moved closer to Ghost Rider in the park. This is a very rare hand-painted wooden sign used at the park for this attraction, measuring 24" x 30". The sign mentions both Panning for Gold and the Gold Mine. Also included is a Timber Mountain Log Ride hand-painted distressed wood sign saying "Please Form 2 Lines" and "No Expectant Mothers on this Ride." This fun sign is 48" x 12". Some wood splitting, but overall Very Good condition.
