One reason for that is that all have been stored in 100% polypropylene clear plastic bags with non-acidic backing boards. Grades are as follows: January 1956 (FN), February (FN/VF), March (FN), April (VF/NM), May (VF-), June (VF/NM), July (VF/NM), August (VF/NM), September (NM-), October (VF), November (FN/VF), December (VF).

    Notable Playmates include Marian Stafford (first 3-page centerfold) and Lisa Winters, while noteworthy pictorials include Jayne Mansfield, Diana Dors, and Anita Ekberg. Contributors included Ray Bradbury, Erskine Caldwell, Herbert Gold, Ray Russell, and Shel Silverstein.
