Playboy #1 Incomplete (HMH Publishing, 1953) CGC PR 0.5 Off-white to white pages. The infamous first issue of Hugh Hefner's manly magazine, featuring a Marilyn Monroe cover and "Sweetheart of the Month" two-page poster. The book contains a Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey article, the article "VIP On Sex" by Virgil Partch, and a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fiction story (Sherlock Holmes!). CGC notes, "1st & last page missing, affects text. Incomplete." Not listed in Overstreet.
