    Description

In the Days of the Mob #1 (Hampshire Distributors, 1971) Condition: VF+. Here's the Holy Grail for the Jack Kirby collector, at least as far as Kirby's Bronze Age output is concerned. It's a magazine that which experienced low newsstand distribution and never made it to a second issue. It's black and white with Kirby art throughout except for two pages of gags by Sergio Aragones and a text feature by youngsters Mark Evanier and Steve Sherman. One of the Kirby features is the story of Al Capone. We're happy to report that the centerfold poster of John Dillinger is still in perfect shape and has not been removed from the centerfold. Overstreet 2004 VF 8.0 value = $55;VF/NM 9.0 value = $78.
