Famous Monsters of Filmland #3 (Warren, 1959) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. One of the first four issues to sell out in the back issue department by the time issue #12 was printed, also one of the most difficult early issues to find. Contains an extensive monster movie preview section. James Warren painted cover. The first "You Axed For It" page. Forrest J. Ackerman text. "Extremely rare in higher grades," according to Jerry Weist's Comic Art Price Guide. Not listed in Overstreet. CGC census 1/20: 4 in 8.0, 12 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
