    Description

Witches Tales #17 File Copy (Harvey, 1953) CGC NM- 9.2 Cream to off-white pages. Dangers that lurk in caves were a common enough cover theme, but we've seldom seen it done better than on this one by Lee Elias. Aficionados of (fictional) apocalypses will be interested to know that one of the interior stories is an atomic disaster tale. Pre-Code horror books aren't easy to find, and this one's no exception. In fact, you could count all of the high-grade copies of this book on one finger -- our offering is the only copy that CGC has certified above 5.0 to date. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $260. CGC census 12/04: 1 in 9.2, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0625064004 and purchase grader's notes if available.
