    Whiz Comics #1 (Fawcett Publications, 1940) CGC GD/VG 3.0 White pages. This Golden Age key's popularity has seen a resurgence in recent years. It was one of the fastest climber's on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list from 2019 to 2020, all because herein are included the origins and first appearances of Captain Marvel, Sivana, Golden Arrow, Dan Dare, Lance O'Casey, Spy Smasher, and Ibis the Invincible. Not as easy to find as Action Comics #1 or Detective Comics #27, CGC has certified just 27 copies in Universal grades. C. C. Beck cover and art. Currently #13 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. Overstreet 2020 GD 2.0 value = $27,500; VG 4.0 value = $55,000. CGC census 6/21: 2 in 3.0, 11 higher.
