Fight Comics Bound Volume of #1 - 12 (Fiction House, 1940-41). An incredible volume of the first dozen issues of one of Fiction House's most beloved titles, trimmed and bound in green cloth. Many covers are by Lou Fine and/or Will Eisner, contributing artists include George Tuska, Bob Powell, and John Celardo. Most of the issues in this volume are uncommon or scarce. Protected from light and dust by the binding, the covers are remarkably bright and glossy. The binding is starting to tear loose from the contents but everything is still holding together. The front cover of issue #1 is torn loose from the comic but is still attached to the neighboring endpaper, and the same for the back cover of the last issue. Despite these minor flaws, this is a fantastic run of classic issues in one convenient volume - perfect for the collector who loves to read his comics! Overstreet 2003 VG value for the group totals $1,988.
