    Description

The Phantom Stranger #1 Spokane pedigree (DC, 1952) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. An Overstreet "scarce" issue, this is the first appearance of the Phantom Stranger. With a Carmine Infantino cover, and Murphy Anderson, Sy Barry, and Infantino interior art, this issue is a tough find by any standard. This copy is by far the highest grade that we have ever seen for issue #1 -- our previous highest-grade offering was a mere FN 6.0, and that was six years ago! Overstreet 2014 NM- 9.2 value = $3,500. CGC census 5/15: 1 in 9.4, none higher.
