    Terrific Comics #4 Mile High pedigree (Continental Magazines, 1944) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. Overstreet and Gerber both call this issue "scarce." And no wonder it's sought after: the cover by Rudy Palais portrays the ruthlessness of war in a way that really hits home, as a G.I. plugs a Japanese pilot who's already in a bad way. Overstreet calls the cover "classic" -- the shocking scene was a departure from the standard action covers that graced the rest of the series' brief run. The interior features L.B. Cole art. This is the highest-graded copy that CGC has certified thus far. Overstreet 2003 VF 8.0 value = $2,500; VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,750.
