    Superman #4 (DC, 1940) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to off-white pages. The second appearance of Lex Luthor (who debuted in Action #23) is in this very issue. That bald fellow on the cover is not Luthor by the way, but you do get Joe Shuster cover art displaying Superman's powers to great effect, and note the early version of Supes' chest logo. Overstreet 2011 VG 4.0 value = $1,460. CGC census 10/11: 5 in 4.0, 41 higher.
