    Description

Zip Comics #6 (MLJ, 1940) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. An unbelievable grade on this non-pedigree book featuring Steel Sterling -- definitely one of the best covers of the run. It has a very bright pink and purple logo, an extremely tight and solid spine, plus gloss that is quite visible right through the holder. Charles Biro provided the great WWII Nazi U-boat cover, and Biro, Irv Novick, and Mort Meskin handled the interior art. Overstreet 2017 NM- 9.2 value = $2,900. CGC census 11/17: 2 in 9.4, 1 higher.
