    Zip Comics #20 Mile High Pedigree (MLJ, 1941) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. Shockingly immaculate copy! Not so shocking: it's a Mile High copy. We've offered a grand total of 6 other copies over the years, and half of those were in GD or lower grade. It's a tough find in high grade -- the next highest-graded in CGC's census lagging far behind Edgar Church's copy at VF+ 8.5. And CGC has only certified nine copies in Universal grades. The issue has the origin and first appearance of Black Jack, an event that has Hitler, his henchman Joseph Goebbels, and other ne'er-do-wells cowering on the cover by Irv Novick. Novick and Bob Montana contributed interior art. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $4,900. CGC census 9/20: 1 in 9.8, none higher.
