    Description

World's Finest Comics #20 (DC, 1945) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. By now you've noticed that almost all of the square bound beauties in this original-owner World's Finest run are at or near the top of the census! It's no different for this copy. In addition to a Superman story in which the Man of Steel tussles with the Toyman, there are adventures of super-types Batman, Green Arrow and Zatara. Joe Simon contributed art to a true war-story feature, while other hands drew an adventure of Simon and Kirby's Boy Commandos. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $775; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,225. CGC census 3/06: 2 in 8.5, none higher. From the Collection of Harold Curtis.
