Description
World's Finest Comics #2 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1941) CGC Qualified FN/VF 7.0 Cream to off-white pages. Don't start looking for the preceding issue of this title; this is the first World's Finest Comics issue, a continuation of World's Best Comics where the number one issue of the series was assigned. This and subsequent issues through #17 had cardboard covers. That anomaly, and the fact that the early issues were as big, thick, and meaty as a filet mignon, combined to make the books susceptible to wear and tear. CGC notes, "Cover detached."
