Whiz Comics #97 Court Copy (Fawcett Publications, 1948) Condition: FN. Cover by C. C. Beck. Art by Kurt Schaffenberger and Bernie Krigstein. This is a court copy, a book that was used as an exhibit in the DC vs. Fawcett legal case that began in 1941 and wasn't settled until 1952. The copy is stamped "Plaintiff's Exhibit U.S. Dist Court Mar 18 1948." The comic has been nicely matted to an overall approximate size of 10" x 14" and appears to be about FN, possibly a File Copy, but with creases from handling and/or placement in the frame. Overstreet 2014 FN 6.0 value = $78.
