Whiz Comics 3 (#2) (Fawcett Publications, 1940) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. In this issue, Spy Smasher reveals his identity to Eve. C. C. Beck drew the World War II cover and contributed interior art. Pete Costanza interior art. There is no issue number printed on the cover, and it erroneously reads "Whiz Comics #3" in the indicia. Just a single copy of the second newsstand appearance of Captain Marvel has been gifted with a higher grade from CGC than this bright copy. Overstreet 2021 VF 8.0 value = $7,100. CGC census 9/21: 2 in 7.5, 1 higher.
