Description
Whiz Comics #3 (#2) (Fawcett Publications, 1940) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. There is no issue number printed on the cover, and it is erroneously identified as "Whiz Comics #3" in the indicia. It features the second appearance of Captain Marvel, and the Spy Smasher reveals his identity to Eve in the backup story. The cover is by C. C. Beck, with story art by Beck and Pete Costanza. Overstreet 2021 FN 6.0 value = $2,919; VF 8.0 value = $7,100. CGC census 6/22: 4 in 6.5, 6 higher. From the Truckee Meadows Collection.CGC Grader Notes:
