The Human Torch #8 (Timely, 1942) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream to off-white pages. It's the Torch vs. the Sub-Mariner (these guys just did not get along -- why didn't Miss America try to mediate their beef?)! Torch is, of course, the good guy, but the damage he's causing on this eye-catching Alex Schomburg cover seems more destructive than Namor at his worst. Basil Wolverton art inside.
