The Human Torch #2 (#1) (Timely, 1940) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white pages. One of Overstreet's Top 25 Silver Age books, this is one of the most valuable Timely comics, and note how few copies have been graded higher! It's the first issue of the series, and the first appearance of Toro, the main character's sidekick. The Human Torch had only been appearing in comics for less than a year at this point, he was the first Timely character to break out into his own book. Alex Schomburg cover art.
