Description
The Human Torch #2 (#1) (Timely, 1940) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. This was the first issue of the title, which had previously been Red Raven for all of one issue, and it's best known for featuring the first appearance of the Torch's sidekick, Toro. The origins of the Human Torch and Sub-Mariner are told in a text story, and the fiery World War II cover is by Alex Schomburg. It is currently #46 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics.
