Superman #7 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1940) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. This issue has the first appearance of Daily Planet editor Perry White, though his first name would not be revealed until issue #10, and that's one of the chief reasons to acquire this comic (just don't call him Chief). Joe Shuster and Wayne Boring contributed art to the issue. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $909; VF 8.0 value = $1,970. CGC census 7/06: 5 in 6.5, 9 higher. From the Crippen Collection.
