Description

Superman #13 (DC, 1941) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. An outstanding high-grade copy of this issue with its Fred Ray cover, drawn before the United States had entered World War II. The cover features Superman punching a warship marked with a symbol that strikes a vague resemblance to a Nazi symbol, suggesting that the gun-toting sailors are German. Lex Luthor makes an appearance in this issue. Interior art provided by John Sikela. Overstreet 2021 VF/NM 9.0 value = $4,481; NM- 9.2 value = $6,400. CGC census 9/21: 4 in 9.0, 2 higher. From the SuperHero Life Collection of Yasha Yothi.

CGC Grader Notes:
light spine stress lines to cover
small chip out left bottom of back cover
small tear right center of front cover
