Issue #1 of the Man of Steel's eponymous title contains Superman's origin story. Joe Shuster provided the cover and story art for the book that is currently listed at #3 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Back cover missing. Front cover detached. Incomplete."
