Superman #1 (DC, 1939) CGC Apparent VG/FN 5.0 Extensive (P) Cream to off-white pages. This iconic issue seems poised to overtake Marvel Comics #1 for the third position on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books list, perhaps as early as this year. Unrestored copies are notoriously hard to find in nice grades; in fact, CGC has certified only four unrestored copies to date that look nicer than this professionally restored copy. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, cleaned, reinforced." Overstreet 2009 GD 2.0 value = $25,000; VG 4.0 value = $50,000. From the Dr. Mark Miller Collection.
