Star Spangled Comics #36 San Francisco pedigree (DC, 1944) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. Let's get right to what's on everyone's mind, namely how this copy compares to the other 9.6, the Mile High, which we sold a while back. Both copies have unbelievable cover colors, but this specimen has better page quality, better centering, and sharper corners than the Edgar Church book. The issue features the Simon and Kirby-created group the Newsboy Legion. Overstreet 2007 NM- 9.2 value = $825. CGC census 10/07: 2 in 9.6, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
