Star Spangled Comics #3 Mile High pedigree (DC, 1941) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. The Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy swing into action on this Hal Sherman cover! There's nothing like a hero and his kid sidekick... er, actually here the adult is the sidekick. Anyway, their battle against the foes of freedom is also drawn inside by Sherman. The Tarantula, Captain X, and Armstrong of the Army also appear. This is the highest-graded copy of the issue, and the only one graded higher than NM-, that CGC has certified to date. This is also the first time that the Mile High copy has been auctioned. Overstreet 2014 NM- 9.2 value = $1,675. CGC census 5/15: 1 in 9.6, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
