Silver Streak Comics #6 (Lev Gleason, 1940) CGC VF- 7.5 White pages. The origin and first appearance of the original Daredevil keeps this issue firmly in place on Overstreet's list of the 100 most valuable Golden Age comic books. The character was a back-up feature in the title and did not appear on the cover, but before long he would become one of Gleason's biggest sellers. The classic cover is by Jack Cole, and the interior art is by Cole and Jack Binder. Both Overstreet and Gerber list this issue as "scarce". CGC notes, "Small amount of dried glue on cover." Overstreet 2012 VF 8.0 value = $10,500. CGC census 11/12: 2 in 7.5, 3 higher.
