Silver Streak Comics #1 (Lev Gleason, 1939) CGC NM 9.4 Cream to off-white pages. The highest-graded copy of one of Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics. This is the first comic book by the company that would soon be known as Lev Gleason Publications. The ultra-cool metallic ink cover was highly coveted by kids of the time. This was the first appearance of the Claw, by Jack Cole, and Overstreet considers this book to be "scarce", with Gerber considering it to be "uncommon". The highest-graded copy that we had ever offered prior to this was a VF/NM 9.0, almost 15 years ago! Overstreet 2019 NM- 9.2 value = $23,000.
