Shield-Wizard Comics #7 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. A Simon and Kirby cover? This sure looks that way to us (Kirby and Irv Novick is another attribution we've seen). This issue saw a new costume for the Shield (adding a pair of shorts, among other changes), and it is a bit strange that the change made him look more like Captain America -- though of course the Shield pre-dates Cap! This copy looks NM- from the front, and that's the most important part of the comic, so we think you'll like it! Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $813. CGC census 8/06: 1 in 8.0, 3 higher.From the John McLaughlin Collection.
