Red Raven Comics #1 (Timely, 1940) CGC VG+ 4.5 Cream to off-white pages. "Highly sought after due to its lineage and rarity" is how Overstreet once described this book. The census notes below show you the rarity -- as for the lineage, this one-shot is an early Timely and the reason that the long-running Human Torch started with #2. It's also the first signed work of the great Jack Kirby. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of glue on cover." Overstreet 2011 VG 4.0 value = $2,500. CGC census 11/11: 1 in 4.5, 8 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
