Police Comics #16 Mile High pedigree (Quality, 1943) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. Only the third single copy that we have ever seen of #16, and what a copy it is! Plastic Man gets the Gill Fox cover treatment on this issue and is drawn by Jack Cole inside, and The Spirit backs up Plas in a story contributed by Will Eisner. This nice example of a Mile High book has rich front and back cover colors, a straight spine, and magnificent page quality (natch!). It also features an early Spirit cover appearance. The two other books that share the CGC census with ours sit at 6.5 and 6.0. Overstreet 2013 NM- 9.2 value = $1,200. CGC census 2/14: 1 in 9.4, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
