Description
Police Comics #13 (Quality, 1942) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. It's the first appearance of Woozy Winks, which in our book means this issue is second only to #1 in significance for the Plastic Man fan! And better still, no copy of this issue has been graded higher by CGC to date. The cover's an interesting "straight-up" version of Plas as drawn by Reed Crandall, and inside the comic it's Jack Cole's usual zaniness drawing the India Rubber Man, and not to forget Woozy, "The Man Whom Nature Protects," who's an out-and-out criminal when we first see him! Backup features include the Spirit (by Will Eisner), Phantom Lady, and the last installment of the Firebrand feature. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $819. CGC census 1/06: 2 in 7.5, none higher.
