Police Comics #1 (Quality, 1941) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white to white pages. This issue is one of the bigger bargains in comics if you ask us. Yes, copies trade for four and even five figures, but compared to the first appearances of other major Golden Age characters, it's a steal! If you're joining us late, the character of whom we speak is Plastic Man, and we hasten to add that Phantom Lady made her first appearance here as well. Also note how high this VG/FN copy ranks on CGC's census, with only four unrestored copies topping it as of this writing. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $1,454; FN 6.0 value = $2,181.
