Police Comics #1 (Quality, 1941) CBCS VG- 3.5 Off-white to white pages. This first issue featured the origin and first appearance of that pliable pillar of peace, Plastic Man, by Jack Cole. It also contains the first appearances of Phantom Lady, Firebrand, and the Human Bomb, all of whom appear on the cover by Gil Fox. Interior art is by Fox, Fred Guardineer, Reed Crandall, and Paul Gustavson. CBCS notes, "Pieces missing from margin & top spine of most pages, does not affect story." Overstreet 2016 VG 4.0 value = $1,892.
