Description

Pocket Comics #4 (Harvey, 1942) Condition: GD+. Just the second copy Heritage has offered in 12 years of auctioning comics. This was the last issue of Harvey's first comic series. Supposedly it was popular with kids, but not with newsdealers because the pocket size (approx. 5" by 7 1/2") made it far too easy to shoplift! Featuring Black Cat, Spirit of '76, and the Red Blazer, as well as British Agent 99 by "William Churchill Jr." (groan) and the Zebra by "Ellery King" (double-groan). 100 pages (including covers). Overstreet 2013 GD 2.0 value = $90.
