Pep Comics #36 (MLJ, 1943) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream to off-white pages. The first cover appearance of Archie in this series, which of course he had been appearing in since #22! The Shield and the Hangman are the ones giving Archie a ride. CGC notes it as an infinity cover by Bob Montana, and it's actually infinity times three as three different background characters are perusing Pep #36. Overstreet 2017 VG 4.0 value = $3,200; FN 6.0 value = $4,800. CGC census 5/18: 3 in 5.0, 7 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
