Description

Pep Comics #36 (MLJ, 1943) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Off-white to white pages. This is the very first cover appearance of Archie in Pep Comics, and CGC notes it as an infinity cover by Bob Montana, who also added interior art. Appearances include The Shield and Captain Commando. Montana and Irv Novick art. Overstreet 2021 GD 2.0 value = $1,900; VG 4.0 value = $3,800. CGC census 9/21: 2 in 3.0, 18 higher.
