Pep Comics #36 (MLJ, 1943) CGC GD+ 2.5 Off-white to white pages. This is the very first cover appearance of Archie in Pep Comics, and CGC notes it as an infinity cover by Bob Montana, who also added interior art. Appearances include the Shield and Captain Commando. Story art by Montana and Irv Novick. CGC notes, "Tape on cover, interior cover, and centerfold." Overstreet 2023 GD 2.0 value = $2,100.
