Pep Comics #25 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. This issue has a very early Archie story, which hit the newsstands less than a year before Archie Comics #1, and features the first appearance of Archie's jalopy. The Hangman and the Shield are featured on the cover, rendered by Irv Novick. Story art is by Novick, Bob Montana, and Paul Reinman. CGC notes. "Olympia Collection."
