O.K. Comics #1 Larson pedigree (United Features Syndicate, 1940) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. United Features Syndicate hadn't launched a new series in a couple of years until they brought out this title and Okay Comics in the same month! Alas, neither O.K. or Okay did OK - this one lasted only two issues. On offer was a host of adventure strips led by coverboy Sunset Smith. Also of note is one of the wackier comic book promotions we've heard of, the "cash for criticism contest" (rumor has it that our Chief Cataloger here at Heritage plans to implement a similar scheme). Anyway, you can't go wrong with a copy from the esteemed Lamont Larson pedigree. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $1,025. CGC census 5/06: 1 in 9.2, 2 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
