New York World's Fair Comics #nn (1939 Edition) (DC, 1939) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream pages. A blond Superman graces the cover of the book which also boasts the first published appearance of the Sandman. This solid mid-grade copy is better than most of the cardboard covers of the day, with only some color flaking along the edges, and creases at the right upper and lower corners. Thankfully though there is no tape, glue, or color touch-up. One of the more desirable books of the Golden Age. Overstreet 2002 GD 2.0 value = $2,100; FN 6.0 value = $6,300.
