New York World's Fair Comics #1940 (DC, 1940) CGC Apparent GD+ 2.5 Slight (C-1) Off-white to white pages. Batman, Robin, and Superman appear together for the first time on the cover by Jack Burnley (his first cover art in comics). This last issue of the title contains an early Robin appearance. Hourman, Johnny Thunderbolt, and Red, White, and Blue also make appearances. Burnley, Creig Flessel, Paul Gustavson, and Bob Kane interior art. The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books rates this comic a "7" ("scarce") on its Scarcity Index. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: small amount of glue on interior cover. (Tape on cover.)". Overstreet 2024 GD 2.0 value = $1,125.
