Description
Mystery Men Comics #11 Allentown pedigree (Fox, 1940) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. This pedigree copy tops CGC's census, and it's the only one that CGC has graded above 3.0 to date. The cover, which is by Joe Simon according to both Gerber and Overstreet, depicts a hero who appeared in comics for many decades (and for many publishers), the Blue Beetle. Also in these pages is the first appearance of the Green Mask's sidekick, Domino. Bob Powell and George Tuska both contributed interior art to the issue. Overstreet 2005 VF/NM 9.0 value = $925; NM- 9.2 value = $1,250. CGC census 4/05: 1 in 9.0, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
