Description

More Fun Comics #101 (DC, 1945) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. It's one of the most coveted issues in the illustrious run of DC's first comic series that originally started out as New Fun Comics in 1935. "Illustrious" would also apply to this immaculate copy, which is particularly startling considering just a handful of copies have exceeded even VF 8.0 in CGC's census to date. The big deal here is the origin and first appearance of Superboy. There's also the last appearance of the Spectre in the title -- and anywhere else for that matter -- until 1966. Overstreet 2010 NM- 9.2 value = $16,500. CGC census 10/10: 2 in 9.6, none higher.
