Marvel Mystery Comics #85 (Timely, 1948) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. If you think a VF 8.0 of Marvel/Timely's flagship title isn't a big deal, consider this: CGC has certified only two copies of #85 with higher grades to date. The cover colors here suggest an even higher grade. Lots going on in the Syd Shores cover, including a hanging! Shores also provided story art, as did Bill Everett and Ken Bald. This issued marked the last Miss America and Blonde Phantom in the title. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $625.
